Survey Central Emergency Response Team sent to Farnley landslide

Recent torrential rain and flooding caused a landslide which damaged the Tyne Valley (NEC2) line at Farnley, Corbridge.  CML (Construction Marine Limited) will carry out the remedial works in order to repair this section of track and called on Central Alliance to survey the affected area.  Our survey division, Survey Central, deployed an emergency response team to carry out topographical surveys, both on the ground and using UAV aerial mapping technology so that precise geo referenced data and high resolution aerial photography could be supplied to CML quickly and efficiently to assist with the planning of vegetation clearance and remedial works to clear the track as soon as possible.
