Desktop Surveys

For any construction related project that will involves excavation, the starting point should be a Desktop Survey (DTS) in order to understand which buried services could be affected from the outset, including who they are owned and operated by.


Central Alliance offer a comprehensive bureau service that will obtain these records for you and present them in a composite AutoCAD plan.  This data can then be verified on site and adjustments made so they show ‘actual’ rather than ‘recorded’ positions by conducting a full utility survey which will highlight any unrecorded services as well as significant differences in recorded position.
