Central Alliance presents at ICES CPD event on commercial application of satellite technology
Satellite based remote sensing has been an established form of earth observation for a number of years, though largely reserved for the oil and gas industry or for academic research. This presentation aims to demonstrate the latest developments in satellite technology, the processing of data, interpretation of results and how it is more applicable and commercially viable for use in Infrastructure asset management and Civil Engineering. Presentation will focus on Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) surface deformation monitoring presented by Rachel Holley (CGG) and the latest developments in Satellite leak detection and Saturated Ground Analysis presented by Richard Pidcock, our Group Technical Director.
Date: Tuesday 19th September
Price: Free – all welcome
Venue: Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors, Dominion House, Sibson Road, Sale, M33 7PP
